Recently, a resident at Ashwell Lodge embarked on a delightful trip to a nearby farm, where he marvelled at friendly animals. The hands-on experiences of patting and feeding the goats, pigs, ducks, horses and alpacas, sparked smiles and cherished memories.
The visit not only enjoyed a wonderful day surrounded by nature and animals but also offered a sense of togetherness that resonated long after returning home. As he explored the paddocks, RH spotted a beautiful brown horse and excitedly suggested the name “Chestnut Mare.” It was a delightful idea and reflected the horse’s playful spirit and warm demeanour.
This moment of creativity not only brought laughter and joy but also highlighted the Therapeutic impact of being surrounded by farm animals, making the day even more memorable.
